HelpNow for Crisis this Christmas
Connection Crew is supporting Crisis this Christmas, helping to prepare its huge operation to support thousands of homeless people at what can be the harshest time of year, during this especially challenging year.
The support has been awarded through #HelpNow powered by Connection Crew which donates manpower to projects that will benefit communities now – our 215 Fund adapted for 2020 and into 2021.
We have a longstanding relationship with Crisis at Christmas, in previous years we have provided support in part to set-up stages for entertainment at its various centres across London. This year, the entertainment is online and Crisis is feeding, housing and supporting more people for longer. So this year we are donating all our support through #HelpNow powered by Connection Crew.
This week, one of our teams has been working at the gargantuan Crisis Christmas Warehouse in E14 which will be the hub of the operation this year. Our crew has been helping to transform the space into a base for food donation and distribution, for working with and counselling volunteers, and so much more. We will continue to support the Crisis this Christmas mission once set-up is complete by helping with transport and food delivery.
