We are a multi-award-winning crewing company, providing teams of talented people to solve complex production challenges – from building epic stages to crewing iconic events and more.

Working across a range of sectors including events, TV, film & theatre, facilities management, and construction.

We build spaces.

For events and experiences.
For the creative industries and the construction sector.

Whatever your production challenge, we can build a team to support you through.

We're also a Social Enterprise, supporting people who have been affected by homelessness by providing training, mentoring and living wage work.

We're proud to say that, since 2005, we've worked with more than 446 people who have been affected by homelessness, who’ve completed over 240,000 hours of crewing with us.

We're also working on our sustainability and impact more broadly, considering the influence we can have on the wellbeing of our workforce, our local community, and the environment.

We mapped our carbon footprint in 2021. That same year, we implemented our Carbon Levy and put our Net Zero plan into action.

  • Connection Crew are professional and reliable, and their crew and crew leadership are a credit to the organisation. They've delivered high-profile and large-scale events for us, coming up with solutions to logistical challenges and going above and beyond to deliver a brilliant consolidation service for us at MAD Fest. Our History

h

We started in 2005 as part of the homelessness charity, The Connection at St Martin’s, in London’s Trafalgar Square. We worked with people who had been homeless in the past, giving them a place in our crew and helping them develop purpose, confidence and independence.

Social enterprises were fairly new at the time. But we thought: if we can do great work for great clients and support those people who need it – why wouldn’t we? Five years later, we became a Community Interest Company (CIC): an organisation that aims to use its profits for good.

More than nineteen years on, we've grown from a crew of 10 to over 200, offering award-winning services across a range of sectors and industries. It all comes back to our mission to reduce and prevent homelessness - the more work we do, the more we can help those in need.

And, as we all know, in order to do our best by people, we need to do our best by the planet too. That’s why we are aiming for Net Zero by 2030, working in partnership with our clients to drive down carbon and reduce waste wherever we can.

We were one of the first cohort of graduates of Heart of the City's 'Climate for SMEs' course. That same year we mapped our carbon footprint, implemented our Carbon Levy, and put our Net Zero plan into action.
