The heart of Brixton Design Trail

We were delighted to offer our support to help transform an unloved and unused yard on Atlantic Street into the very Heart Space of the Brixton Design Trail.

The Brixton Design Trail returned for its second year as an official district of the London Design Festival with a theme of Love is Power, communicating the positive force of love in celebrating difference and promoting acceptance.

The trail showcased local designers from a range of backgrounds, highlighting the mix of cultures that live alongside each other, and their respect of diversity and their appreciation of shared values – it is this mix that is the essence of our new neighbourhood.

Several headline exhibits were built and displayed in the Heart Space, including Revolution of Kindness by Rocketship and Silent Arch by Bharat and Jean.  We also lent a hand with Obsessive Interests, a project to transform the long neglected station arcade into a market place for emerging design talent from the area.

Here’s some before, during and after images from the build for you to enjoy!
