Celebrating Our Mid-Year Impact: Social and Environmental Achievements

That’s why we’re excited to share the latest results from our mid-year impact review, showing how working with us is helping to drive real change - without compromises.

Our Clients are Making a Difference

Our clients value more than the high standard of service we provide. They also value the clear, measurable progress we make towards our mission of ending homelessness and creating a more sustainable future.

Thanks to this, in the first half of our current reporting year alone - December 1st, 2023, to May 31st, 2024 -, we’ve:

  • Hired 49 people affected by homelessness: Providing life-changing opportunities for those who need them most.

  • Delivered 12,243 hours of social impact on-site: Making a real difference in the lives of our impact crew.

  • Accounted for 59,314.2 kg of CO2e emissions from site: Through our Carbon and ESG Levy, we’re reducing our environmental footprint and helping enhance clients' sustainability credentials through the supply chain.

These achievements are more than numbers.

They represent the real, tangible, positive change that every single job with us is making possible. Simply by booking our crew, our clients are getting top service along with environmental and social impact in one package.

 

Part of a Bigger Picture

Since 2005, working with our clients has meant that we’ve:

  • Supported 446 people affected by homelessness into work.

  • Delivered over 240,920 hours of social impact on-site with our clients.

  • Removed 670 tonnes of CO2e from site since 2021.

Every single project we work on contributes to these milestones - whether it's a 2-hour call or an 8-week build.

What's Next After the Mid-Year Report?

Early next year, we’ll share our full Annual Impact Report.

For clients who have worked with us enough to contribute over a week’s worth of social impact (equivalent to over 37.5 hours of on-site work delivered by our impact crew) and who are part of our Carbon & ESG Levy, we also provide individualised impact reports.

These will detail specific contributions to both people and planet, offering clients even more tangible insights into the difference they’re making.

For now, we'll leave you with a simple number, and invite you to say it out loud: 12,243 hours of social impact in 6 months.
