Five of our favorite social enterprises that are smashing it in London when it comes to helping people from vulnerable backgrounds into a better life:

Bikeworks recycle, refurbish and sell second hand bikes. Employment and training opportunities for marginalized individuals are integrated into the heart of the enterprise. www.bikeworks.org.uk

The House of St Barnabas is an employment academy for people affected by homelessness, which is funded by a not-for-profit members club in the heart of Soho where the participants are trained. hosb.org.uk
